Routes The Cap de Creus Reserve

The most spectacular sites are barely 4 miles from Empuriabrava, in the "Cap de Creus" peninsula that stands 10 kms out to sea, forming a very broken coastline with its high cliffs, wind-beaten islands and eroded rock reefs, beautiful panorama, hidden coves with transparent water that can only be accessed by sea. The vines and olive groves are entwined on the mountainsides in stone-held terraces of arable land. The coastal ports are home to small fishing fleets. Three years ago Cap de Creus was declared a natural reserve and is currently the biggest in Europe.
